Dr. Julia Shaw, is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.  She is currently the Assistant Medical Director of the Yale-New Haven Hospital Women's Center in  New Haven, Connecticut.  She was formerly the Medical Director of the University of Oklahoma OU Physicians Women’s Clinic in Tulsa, Oklahoma as well as director of the O.U.Contraception Center.  She served as an assistant professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Tulsa.

She is dedicated to helping women maintain the highest quality of life while moving through the life stages common to all women. Her goal is to provide quality information that will allow women to make better choices in taking care of themselves. She specialized in abnormal pap smears as well as adolescent/teenage pregnancy at the University of OK.  . Her research and clinical interests include the Treatment of Bacterial Vaginosis and Treatment of Vasomotor Symptoms and Vulvovaginal Atrophy in Postmenopausal Females
